UID Solutions for US Military Supply Chains
Unique Identification (UID) marking is increasingly compulsory for suppliers to the US military. Fimark provides direct component marking of DataMatrix codes alongside validation certificates, ensuring components meet the identification and traceability standards required across US defence procurement. Laser parameters are selected and optimised for each material - on steel the surface is turned black for maximum contrast; on titanium and aluminium the surface is etched to create a permanent, legible mark that withstands the component’s full service life.

MIL-STD-130N Compliant Marking
Our marking processes comply with MIL-STD-130N, covering serialisation, part numbering and machine-readable code requirements for defence components. We mark DataMatrix codes, UID codes, barcodes and QR codes across a wide range of defence materials, including titanium, Inconel, stainless steel and aluminium. Every job includes full batch documentation and traceability records as standard.
UK MOD Supply Chain
For UK defence manufacturers, our processes are equally suited to DEF STAN compliance and AQAP quality requirements across the UK MOD supply chain. We work with UK defence subcontractors and manufacturers who require permanent, verifiable marking on components destined for UK military service.
Tamper Evident Labels & Nameplates
Where direct component marking is not appropriate, Fimark supplies tamper evident laser labels using Tesa and 3M materials, offering high chemical resistance across a broad temperature range. We also supply and mark nameplates and rating plates in stainless steel and anodised aluminium, either sourcing the material ourselves or processing free-issued material supplied by your team.

Our marking solutions comply with the requirements of the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA), Military Aviation Authority (MAA) and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) where applicable to dual-use components.
