Started in 1997 to provide laser marking and etching, we have a range of equipment to service our customer’s needs including in-house spray painting for the manufacture of back-lit buttons and fascias for car interiors and data entry devices.

We provide a high quality service with a fast turnaround. Emphasis is placed on working closely with the customer to meet their requirements in terms of quality and production schedule.
Data is accepted in most common file formats.

What is laser marking?

Very much as it sounds, a precisely controlled laser beam is used either to discolour the surface of a component or to vaporise material. The laser parameters and the laser’s position can be precisely controlled to provide high contrast marks in the form of barcodes, logos and graphics. If a surface is painted then the laser can be used to precisely remove paint. By choosing a translucent substrate that is a contrasting colour a graphic can be backlit for night and day readability.

What can be marked?

All metals, most plastics and many ceramics can be marked or etched. We accept batches from one item to many thousands. FIMARK has customers who require micron accurate marks on fibre-optics communications devices or simple logos on pens for corporate gifts. Fabricated components, medical devices and instruments, nameplates, labels, bathroom and kitchen fittings, keyboards, buttons, bezels, micrometer thimbles, plated parts, moulded parts, cast parts, fascia plates, carbon fibre dashboards or medical jigs. You name it, we have probably marked it and can help you with your marking and etching needs.
